A big THANK YOU to everyone who donates to Circle Of White Light Radio and the Pay It Forward Appeal.
I combined October's, November's and December's donations for a bumper donation to the Clonmel Community Soup Kitchen and free food bank. €900 Euros was donated along with 20 sleeping bags.
This money will be used to feed 100 low income and 20 homeless people for Christmas dinner provided by a local hotel. The sleeping bags for the 20 homeless people where an added bonus and with this weather, really needed.
So thank you to everyone who donates. Can you afford €1 Euro a month?

About Clonmel Community Soup Kitchen and free food bank
We are a completely volunteer based Community Soup Kitchen with our base here in Clonmel at the Railway satation …
We are 100 per cent strictly private and confidential .. everyone is treated with respect and dignity at all times ..
We get No contributions or funding from any state body or from anywhere ..
We rely on the kind generosity of the people of Clonmel and the surrounding towns and villages in South Tipperay who daily and weekly bring us donations of any or all dried and fresh foods
…. All the donations are greatly appreciated…
It doesn’t matter how big or small the donation is .. it is all gratefully appreciated.. because the combination of all the donations enables us to create the “bags” of shopping every week … that we give out
All bags are evenly packed with firstly basic essentials and toiletries that people and families need to just survive and have some food on the table … Anything and all we get is put into the bags
We actually don’t know what is coming in at times... or even from where it is going to come from ... but we have been blessed so far .. as it always works out ..
On occasion people give monitory donations and this is used to buy meats and any other basic essentials that we are missing on our shelves … so that we can ensure people have these essentials every week …
We open on Friday mornings from 9.30 to 12.30 at the railway station but we are also contactable by phone on 087 3201256 with any queries All are welcome !!!
Everyone has their own story to tell .... Some people may be made redundant from their jobs or just simply down on their luck or even working but the figures don’t add up and it’s the food cupboard that suffers ..
We are here for everyone and will continue to do what we do for all the people of Clonmel and surrounding areas as long as we are able .. We are here on a voluntary basis every week .. No questions asked ..
Also we would like just to say that we could not do any of this only for our volunteers!!! That have been coming in every week and have been coming since we opened our doors back in 2014 ... And also to Ina who tirelessly collects from the a number of supermarkets in the area weekly... and also because of the generosity of the people who donate to us every week.
